Anne-Marie: “Ciao Adios” – REVIEW

Good morning readers, welcome to MikeyMix! This morning’s review will be on the track ‘Ciao Adios’ from English singer-songwriter Anne-Marie.

The 3 minute 20 second track combines a European style beat (the instrumental has a distinct Spanish flare) with the powerful English singing style of Anne-Marie.

In my opinion this is one of the best tracks Anne-Marie has released, although I was a massive fan of her track with Rudimental and Sean Paul ‘Rockabye’ this track is definitely better as we get a chance to truly get to know Anne-Marie as an artist.

‘Ciao Adios’ is a strong song because it is a break-up track dressed as a killer pop anthem, it takes a few listens to truly understand the message but Anne-Marie has executed it greatly and the track will definitely stand out against her musical peers as it’s similar sounding enough to succeed in the charts but different enough to stand out.

I will be giving this track a 5 out of 5 star rating (a rating that is very rare on this blog) as I love the track and cannot fault it.
